Pamoja is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls worldwide to believe in themselves. Through workshops that address both everyday and weighty topics, they aim to initiate conversations that spread knowledge and foster new perspectives. They sought a logo and graphic identity that would be warm, inviting, and playful. Recognizing that the girls would need to step outside their comfort zones and discuss serious issues, it was important that the overall feel of the brand be light-hearted and cheerful.
The result was a logo featuring a symbol that also functions independently of its wordmark. The symbol combines elements of a heart, a map pin, and the letter "M". Please see Pamoja Girls Books for more.
